if you'd only see this I tend to agree.

I did a search for an Akai S950 the other day and there were roughly 5 up for sale, all of which were $600-$1000. WTF?? When did that shit happen? I was thinking about buying one a few months ago, but thought $175 was a bit much, so I held off until now to go back and find out that people think they are worth a grand?

In the section of the warranty it says, "DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD, THE BUYER WILL PAY BOTH WAY SHIPPING"

I wonder if he plans on shipping it back at $180 at the buyer's expense!?

A lot of stuff in this thread is just overpriced...but this is insane...cobbling together some gear in a rack and selling it at an outrageous price.

Regards,
Frank

Never listen to opinions regarding tape, digital, analog, plug-ins, hardware, software, amp modelers, etc. For every 50 nobodies on Gearslutz that say a piece of gear doesn't sound good enough to cut it, I know at least one somebody who is cutting it in NYC with that piece of gear.

Juno106 crackhead

"Please note, I will not supply further photos because I am blind having lost my eyesight 4 years ago. It is very difficult to get people to help me post auctions and it is even harder to get help taking photos. I have been exceptionally honest and made clear that the photos make this look cosmetically nicer than it actually is so assume the worst cosmetically and you wont be disappointed so once again, please no requests for high res photos. I can’t do it because I’m blind."

He's actually got alot of good feedback, but I've never seen such s*it written in an auction, it's like reading a novel written by a basket case b*llshitter.

I believe this is genuine. The seller has good feedback. But it's the most extraordinary eBay listing I've ever seen! No more photos but, despite being blind, the seller has written a novel for the item description!! You would dare ask any questions for fear of triggering the poor bugger to write you another book in response!

He's from the UK, so the spelling is correct.
Ever heard of "The Analogue Synthesisers" by Peter Forrest? Probably not...

Cheers,
