A lot of ROMplers have a distorted power chord guitar patch that doesn't seem to quite sound like a real guitar when you try to play the patch like one. This is that patch. I can't think of any ROMplers off the top of my head that don't have something similar to this.

judging from the envelope it sounds like a (perhaps slightly edited version of) U-20/220 guitar http://www.synthmania.com/Roland%20U...y%20Guitar.mp3 an early '90s PCM synth from Roland.

There is none, but the rack version of those is so ridiculously cheap that you're better off just buying them. These are early romplers - they haven't held up well. |
