Just spent an hour at FedEx and $180 bucks to ship my Anniversary Edition Voyager to Moog for repair. Hopefully it's the power supply and not the digital board that is busted so I can save some money. It's probably going to end up being more expensive to ship than repair........

| $400 US? thats a bargain. Ive been outbid on ebay twice in the last two weeks on SE1's. They went for US$660 and $750. I want one to go with my ATC-1

| Oversteps has convinced me that I want a hardware FM synth again... a shame that Yammy don't make grooveboxes any more, let alone rack synths that aren't mega-workstations. FS1Rs are hard to come across...

| ![]() Nutjob is sending me his RM1x! Sweet. Really looking forward to this one. I've never owned a groove box before. Looks fun. Thanks again buddy. By the way, today is my birthday, so it feels like great gift for the occasion. Cheers! |

I've been checking out demos of the RM1x. I think it's something which can really do good things, if used well. So far I like the look of the sequencer, and I may well complement it with an RS7000 later in the year, if I can afford one. I have to buy a computer first. Mine is getting hardware failures, and has become unreliable. | |

| I've used a pair of those...they sound surprisingly good for the money! Very comfortable as well. Much more comfortable than my Ultrasones... which nonetheless you'll have to pry from my cold dead earholes before I'll give them up. Was gonna buy a Rocktron Banshee this month, but I bought my wife some dental work instead. She'll probably get more use out of her teeth than I would've got from a talkbox, I reckon... :-/ |

Those look exactly like the AKG K240s, apart from the colour scheme..

I feel real lame after Reptil's post but here is what I picked up yesterday evening... RNC for my Vermona's kick channel. It has the sidechain output so it will eventually be the trigger for another compressor that will sidechain my Pro One and Virus TI. The original Rat for some distortion. I will use this to process random channels on the Vermona. Carbon copy delay...again, to process random channels on the Vermona. I want to "pull the trigger" on a sleep drone or glamour box but I just don't if they will be worth it. Anyone here using them for buildups and random techno $hi! ? |
