Thread Starter | XILS 3 - Is it just me or is this thing Fat, Organic & Warm? Is it just me or is this thing absoultely fat, warm...just huge organic and pulsating. All the things I would expect from expensive old analog hardware ....signed XILS marketing dept. ![]() But seriously, has do you agree and have you come across any other plugs with this kind of sonic weight and thick tone? If you aren't familiar with it or don't believe me I urge you to have a listen to these demos, specifically "Using the sequencer : Step by step settings, part 2" >>>>>>>>Tutorial videos<<<<<<<<<< I can't actually believe what i'm hearing!

| My favourite VA by a mile. It constantly surprises you with timbres that don't seem possible with 1's and 0's and once you get into the possibilities afforded by the integrated step sequencer - analogue heaven. And when you consider some of the things Xavier has in mind for future development, this is now one serious 'bang for the buck' bit of kit. JM Leftside Wobble |

| It's good, it sure was worth its 15 bucks (got it on sale)! Haven't really had time to delve too deep into it, but from what I've heard so far it sounds really nice. I took a more immediate liking to the Reaktor emulation of the VCS-3 though, SIAC (available in the NI user library). |

| it seems you got the lite version that was on sale time ago, if so you should check the full version, lots of improvements over the lite one (and overall a much better product compared to the reaktor ensembles I've seen)... by the way, for those interested in XILS 3, thanks to a partnership with the developers, we're offering a 25% discount on the full price, no catch :-) just read the instructions clicking on the link below, and enjoy your new toy! | yes this sounds very good and very musical. I love the possibilities of the sequencer, can't wait to use it on a production! Waiting to get some money to upgrade from the lite version to the full, but those darn pesky bills like food and electric keep coming month to month. ![]() |

| I agree, both are great synths, but also quite different. That said, considering the quality of XILS 3 ("musical" is a nice way to describe it), the huge work behind it, and the crazy prices we often see even for simple plugs, well... I think this time-limited special deal they're offering through our site (111 euro instead of 149) is a bargain ![]() Special offer: 25% off on XILS 3 | AudioNewsRoom |

| XILS 3, D-Cam and Ace have really made a quantum leap in plug-in synth sound and quality. IMO... Hugo |
