I found this synth i cant put my finger on

Ok so i have heard it in two places

First in justice: phantom II

Seconde in Nine Inch Nails: Liar(reptile Demo)

If you have a clue what this ****ing thing is tell me. Im dying with out it.

Those are two different sounds and are not coming from the same synth. In both cases, IMO, they are sampled sounds coming from a sampler (NIN) or soft-sampler (Justice). The source of the sound could be anything from a guitar sound to a distorted synth sound with a sharp attack and no release with a high-pass filter on it. If I were to re-create this sound, I would start there. I like that sound and it's very interesting and insiteful to notice such a detailed backround sound, very kewl.

BTW, I wouldn't mention Justice too much around GS, no doubt someone is going to post that infamous photo again.
