The flea market unit had been cannibalized by the owner's wife for making jewellery.
She liked the look of those little colorful parts inside...

Of course, in those days the concept of stacking keyboards was new to everyone. There was a fair amount of experimentation - some of which ended very badly. Rick Wakeman was almost crushed to death in an early stacking of Eminent 310 organs, as seen in this photo.
