For stage use: Korg M50 or Roland Juno Di

Hope this is the right subforum for my question.

Anyway....
I am looking for a keyboard/synth, not too heavy, not too expensive, but with real good piano sound to play on stage. Don't wanna use a computer.

By now I owed a Korg Triton (bad pianos imho), a Juno D (slightly better, but not overwhelminig - sold it again cos I thought the unit is quite toyish), a Kurzweil PC1X (overwhelming but way too heavy), and some software pianos which are very good but I don't wanna rehearse/gig with computers/laptops.

Now I am deciding between a Roland Juno Di and a Korg M50.

What I like about the Juno is, that it leaves me enough money for another synth or some other gear. But I'm having quite a feeling about Junos that they feel like toys. I tried it in store (admittedly with the prejustices in my head), the pianos seemed to have very well improved from the Juno D, or is that just me?

What I like about the M50 is the fact that it's real good sound.
But I heard the keys are crap and I wonder if the 500 euros more (compared to the Juno) are worth it, if that means I have to wait longer for other gear.

I can't make a decision really.
For some hours I think "ok, get the Juno, you have more money left for other things then, and the sound is good enough for stage. I won't use it for studio use anyway."
Then again I think "nahh, Junos are toys, get the M50. It's more expensive, hence better. And it got a sequencer and looks and feels more professional."

Can anyone help please?

Go with what grabs you ...

Yes, pianos are better on Di than D ... (they're derived from Sonic Cell/Fan-X but aren't necessarily the same ... )

Both keybeds lack aftertouch ... Not impressed with either ...

M50 has sequencer, but Di can play audio files if you're into playing with backing tracks ...

M50 will have better overall soundset ... but Di is solid imo if a bit bland ...

Personally, I'd go for the M50 ... but unless you NEED a MIDI sequencer, the Juno Di is in the ballpark ... (I really don't think it's all that "toyish" compared to M50 ... They are both semi-pro synths with a nod to the higher-priced M50 ... )
