Sound toys bundle now includes Pan Man as well as Decapitator. Pan Man is a quality plugin from really subtle too extreme movement but sounding solid and blends lovely into the mix.

Amazing plugins and when you look at other plugin prices you could almost pay the same price for 1 plugin let alone a bundle of amazing plugins.

As others say you will use it all over your tracks if you get them thumbsup

Just my 2p

Soundtoys plugs are quite CPU heavy tough... I want an i7, my "old" quadcore is getting slow when my tracks are 85% there..

Does anyone know if they've fixed the automation problem in cubase?

This is a deal breaker for me, these sort of plugins really need to be automated..

I've got fabfilter timeless and volcano and love them. I find them much more useful for sound warping unusual effects rather then your bread and butter delay and filter effects. They can make things sound rather interesting. They are very clean sounding though I find using the tube and distortion filters dirtys things up but i would still say it's clean

would not say so, unless you're talking of the newer ones (but then, I guess you won't need to use decapitator on EVERY track!).
the old ones are perfectly usable even on an old PPC machine (we're talking of a 2003 cpu).

I'm really loving the Soundtoys bundle a lot. They're both great products from great companies, but I like Soundtoys bundle better for it's sound and GUIs. I don't like the cartoonish GUIs on the Fabfilter stuff.

+1

* Those sounds are awesome!
* That warmth
* Great presets for starting
* Some great 'reverb' stuff too
* Easy to setup to make simple and advanced delays

I got Fabfilter Timeless too. It is of course a great delay, but in another way. I also think it is easier to make echoboy to sit in the mix.

Maybe I'm wrong, but that is my opinion

At first I thought "what's the big deal about another software delay?" I got the Native Effects bundle for the phaser and crystallizer (heresy, I know) and only discovered EchoBoy later. Three things:

1. Interface design. I think this is what sets apart good gear from great gear in music-making since so much stuff sounds great these days. The interface is simple but incredibly deep, which encourages creativity.

2. Sound quality. I'm sure there are other great sounding delays, but it's easy to get this sounding good in a mix and the options for tweaking are great. EQ or distortion delay or reverb is an old engineer's trick, but here it's nicely and intuitively built into the plugin interface itself.

3. Stability. I have never had a problem with any instance of a SoundToys plug in any DAW I've used. Can't say that for some of my other favorites like Reaktor and Audio Ease plugs.
