150 Electronic / Minimal / Techno Drum Hits - Recorded With Expensive High-End Gear

Hello All

Here at the Wave Alchemy HQ we are very proud to announce the first in an ongoing series of exquisitely produced drum hit sample libraries. This new series is to be named Drum Tools. These libraries will provide 100% original drum hit samples of the highest quality

As a kind gesture we are giving away 150 (pre-release) sounds from our very first Drum Tools library! These sounds are taken directly from our forthcoming Drum Tools release "Wave Alchemy - Minimal Techno & Tech House"

The 150 free sounds included here showcase only a very very small fraction of what to expect from the full 'Minimal Techno & Tech House' drum hit library. The full sample library will offer near to 2000 drum samples! The estimated release date for the full library is Christmas 2009. Price will be between £29.95 and £34.95.

Here is the link to the 150 drum hits:

https://www.yousendit.com/transfer.p...MGNEbUxIRGc9PQ

Here is a little teaser of what to expect from our Drum Tools libraries:

"Set to be the future industry standard of singlehit drum sounds - Wave Alchemy's new Drum Tools libraries supply you with 100% original 24bit one-shot drum hits recorded and produced using only the very finest of outboard studio equipment. You will NOT find LOOPS in this catalogue.

Many libraries of this kind tend to source their sounds from old records and other peoples commercial music. We vouch to never rip sounds from vinyl, CD, mp3 or any other source and pass them off as our own! Everything we produce is 100% original.

The sounds from Wave Alchemy's Drum Tools products are produced from the ground up by the layering and processing of drum machine samples, field recordings and the recording of live drum and percussive instruments. The signal chain we use incorporates a number of highly sought after outboard compressors, equalizers and preamps resulting in a unique sound that will set you apart from the rest!"

Here is a list of some of the kit used to produce this library:

Jomox XBase 999, Jomox Airbase 99, Jomox Mbase 11, Vermona DRM MK11, Elektron Machinedrum, Roland TR-808, Roland TR-606, MFB 522, ARP Odyssey, Future Retro XS, Moog Voyager, Nord Lead 3, Sherman Filterbank, Thermionic Culture Vulture, SSL E Series EQ, SSL E Series Compressor, Empirical Labs Distressor, SPL Transient Designer, Eventide H3000, API 512c pre-Amp + Much More...

We are extrmely excited about this forthcoming release and have put in countless hours of time, sweat and dedication to capture what we believe to be a sonic perfection...

We would love to hear any feedback anyone may have. If anyone makes any productions using these sounds we would love to have a listen

p.s I have also uploaded 200 completely free drum samples taken directly from our 'Drum Machines 01' sample pack! This pack includes high quality drum machine samples from the Vermona DRM Mk11 and Jomox's Airbase 99, XBase999 and Mbase11, all beautifully recorded in 24-bit through an API-512c Pre-Amp. You can download the 200 free drum machine samples here:

Kindest Regards,

Dan Byers

Cool, that would be great to hear thumbsup

Infact, as the full library is not being released until christmas, anyone is more than welcome to have a go at creating a demo song for the library

if anyone is interested in this send me a PM. If any of the demos are good enough to use as promotion I would happily credit the producer and give them a license the full product for free!

Cryophonik over at the KVR forums has kindly done a short demo song to showcase some of the sounds in the 'Drum Tools' pre-release free samples

You can download the short audio demo here:

https://www.yousendit.com/transfer.p...UENwcFYzZUE9PQ

The first groove is composed entirely of samples from our 'Drum Machines 01' library. The last three grooves are composed entirely from the pre-release free samples posted above!

wave alchemy stuff is really good - much better it seems than sample magic which has become quite samey, over processed and over rated.

Glad you like our stuff.

We actually produced the majority of Sample Magic's Funky House Grooves 2 library. The live bass and percussion sessions were really good fun!

Yes I just try to make a song with them.

Next time you bring out something warm and fat sounding please

Don't want to sound arrogant, but I am a bit tired of Native-Instruments-like libraries. Too much enhancer-based "> 10 kHz" frequency content. The 90ies flavour will come back, I am sure.

The tune will sound funny anyway.

Thanks for the feedback. Look forward to the song

We didnt boost any frequencies when making the library. The high frequency sizzle you are reffering to will most likely be harmonic distortion. Nearly everything was made using analogue gear minus a few Elektron Machinedrum sounds thumbsup The only software used in the making of this library was SoundForge to precisely edit the sounds.

Hi there, did a demotrack with the samples, maybe you like it.
Really enjoyed playing around with these samples, looking forward to the release of the whole pack!

Just Battery and Ableton Live´s Simpler for some of the pads/stabs, no compression added:

Zippyshare.com - mr.adl - Drum Tools Demotrack.wav (14,6mb)

Sorry, don´t know how to stream the WAV file directly

Here is an alternative downloadlink.
Download mr.adl - Drum Tools Demotrack.wav from Sendspace.com - send big files the easy way
