Hardware synth w/tempo synced LFO that resets to loop point or bar. Has it been made?

I can't find it anywhere. Is this feature just an "error" with software that nobody use?

I see in its manual that the Waldorf Q has CV input. Thinking this could allow its LFO's to reset to measure with a sequencer sending "click out"? Anybody know?

If you're into CV...

I've been using the ableton to generate LFOs via a motu 828mkIII which has the DC coupled outs. I loves it! So does my ms20 & sh5.

I've been wanting sinewaves, retriggering on the note, which I've been doing with ableton's sampler.

To retrigger on the bar or the loop you could just use audio clips.

Would those be able to modulate parameters in a Waldorf Q through its CV input?

Or modulate parameters inside vintage analog synth's with CV input?

So that I could have a resetable tempo synced LFO modulating pitch and filter in say an MS20?

Nord G2 modular can do this and variations on this. You can sync an LFO to midi clock, you can set the LFO phase point at which it resets, you can reset an LFO to some other trigger like a pulse from a specific step of a sequencer module and sync that sequncer to midi clock, etc.

the Korg and Yamaha from that time have a different pitch control system
instead of 1V per octave they do herz per volt
here's a handy wiki CV/Gate - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I'm using these modules with my Arp Axxe all the time
I believe Analogue Systems has a module that can track the Korgs. Maybe doepfer too. Not sure. too lazy to look. d-)

nord modular very nice yes
you can try out the single voice version on the Nord website
