Sequencers sending pulse signal

I've heard about sequencers that can send a pulse signal, for instance at each bars startpoint, making it possible for an external synths LFO to reset/snap/lock its waveform to each bar.

What sequencers have this function?

What function or input is required on the external synth, to be able to react to this pulse?

Could it be done with both synced and free running LFO's?

Well there are two forms of pulse outs commonly found in Analogue sequencers. The first is for overall clock speed to clock other devices at that the same speed. End pulse out is a single pulse that signifies then end of a set of stages. This is very useful when using a sequencer with multiple rows say 3 x 8 so by hooking the outputs of all three rows to a switch device and hooking the end pulse output to the trigger input of the switch it will drop the output from row A after 8 stages to Row B then to C - giving you 24 stages where you only have 8 before.

There are many other uses of the end pulse out but this gives you an Idea.

I was about to say that someone else asked this recently. Then I realised it was you Huba??

Thanks. Not sure if this means that what I am after is possible or not. Preferably I'd like a sequencer that would let me record with a MIDI keyboard in realtime and store patterns etc. Are you saying I would need analog modular stuff to get this pulse that will allow resetting of external synths LFO's?

Yes that was me. I have posted that question in 5 different forums without any luck. Access support didn't know if it could be done. Then again, the only thing they could help me with when I asked for a sysex list for the TI (which I later found on the net) was a cc list, so maybe it's possible without their knowledge.

Anyway if it's not possible with the TI, then I need to find out about other sequencers and synths that makes this possible. Best thing would probably be a synth that can do this with the press of a button, but I don't know if they exist.
