good dx / tx 7 patches, sounds, banks, etc

i know there is a ton of patches, banks etc for the dx7 /tx7 out there that are quite easy to find on the web

but can anyone recommend, as a starter, any sites where i can get free or buy decent quality patches from rather than having to go through 1000s of sounds?

The original, factory Yamaha patches are some of the best.. they have several banks so I'd download those first,

Also, my good online friend Yoozer a few months ago pointed to this - Hypra patches:

The Legendary DX7 Hypra-ROM Cartridge - Harmony Central Musician Community Forums

I have to say the Hypra is one of the very best (if not the best) DX7 patch compilations out there.

Hypra is overhyped. It's just as useable as any other huge internet collection. Nothing special, a few nice patches among piles of mediocre, generic FM sounds. However, just like with any patch, it's more about how you use it rather than how it sounds by itself.

Kate Bush / Peter Gabriel

Hi
Hope someone here can help

I bought a TX7 and an editor/library of sounds hoping to find sounds similar to that used by Kate Bush / Peter Gabriel in that song 'Don't give up'

As mentioned above there are too many average sounds to trawl through and it is difficult to find anything like that sound

Here is an example of the kind of sound [unaffected] I'm looking for

http://homepage.mac.com/synth_seal/f...7_fixdecay.mp3

Here's a nice dreamy sound

http://homepage.mac.com/synth_seal/f...5_metalpad.mp3

Anyone have any patches similar?

Thanks
