Danger

I am looking for any and all information I can find on Danger. I'm most interested in his live setup. But other info is welcome as well. Who is he? What label? What DAW? Ect Ect Ect.

I'm not trying to copy his style or anything I am just genuinely interested!

Searching "Danger" in google only yields his myspace and a short interview.

I can't really help you out on the gear he uses, but this guy is incredible.

Thanks for letting me know about him.

My bandmate partied with him once after a show. I hear that he's a really nice guy, easy to talk to. I think his live setup is a pretty barebones DJ rig, not 100% sure though. I missed his show.

sounds like your typical analogue synths with distortion and saturation, some DX style bell sounds and drum machine sounds. Some slap bass sounds. Then some talent.

Like the Empire of the Sun instrumental here. And the Estelle remix!

I just saw him at Avalon in LA.

He was using more than just a dj mixer for sure. He had a laptop and some other hardware. I can't imagine what it was though. I was just curious. I love the mystery surrounding the guy and the vibe he has going with this dark jungle graphic. Really cool stuff.

Needless to say he stikeROCKEDstike the Avalon. Terrific set.thumbsupthumbsupthumbsup

What I can hear he uses alot of old Amiga samples. Specially the ones from the ST-00 disks. And if i'm not misstaken he also use an tracker on pc (one with VST support).

Sorry for my bad english ...

I think the only problem with his sound is its slammed a bit too hard.
SOOOOO loud to the point where it distorts quite a bit.

Agreed.

Though this is one type of music where I honestly believe that the guy just does not care.

You don't hear clipping as well when your dancing your ass off in a crowd of 300 people.thumbsup
