A doubt about Acid Pro 7

I am working with Acid Pro 7 at this moment and I can't find one of the zoom options. Yeah, it's incredible cos I've been checking tutorials, searching in google and so on and can't find it anywhere. Even I have searched for it in the view options of the programme getting no results :(

This is how my Acid Pro 7 looks like:

and this is what I can see in the tutorial:

Any idea about what's going on? Many thanks for your help. I know this questions is a bit... basic?

Which zoom option can you not find?
Is that a screen shot of your entire screen?
I typically use the mouse wheel for quick horizontal or vertical zooming.

Helo, Raider

I'm searching for the horizontal zooming. This is a usual pic of the programme:

and this is how mine looks like:

As you can see, some zoom options are missed in my Acid Pro and that such a fool thing is driving me mad. Anyway, I haven't made a try with the wheel of the mouse. It's not comfortable for me but, in this case, I'll check if it works properly. It will be better than getting no zoom.

Many thanks for your help and fast replay, Raider

Something is definitely going on there. I used Acid Pro 7 for awhile but discovered a few of the VST's I use all the time didnt work so switched back to 6. From the looks of it I would say you either need to reinstall acid pro or try doing an update for your graphic card possibly. I definitely remember the horizontal zoom available in mine. Plus yours looks kinda funky because it's missing the bevelled boxes that surround the plus and minus. What OS are you using?

Another thought....I noticed that long black horizontal bar you have in yours. That bar should not be there. Have you tried a different screen resolution?

Helo, timbreman. I'm working with Windows XP cos it's the best SO I have got for audio. Yesterday I was checking the wheel of the mouse and... it works properly!! Here I have got a good solution. Anyway, the horizontal zooming keeps dissappeared. Now I'll change the resolution of the screen too and let's see what happens.

I was working with Acid Pro 4.0 but it does not allow external vst's and vsti's and that's a big problem for me cos I can't automatize the way I want. I only use Acid to make dj sets. It's the best software for me for this. I don't use it as a sequencer. I'm a FLStudio user since 1999 but I must get ready a new dj set and I though it would be a good idea to update Acid cos I hate direct x plugins

I agree that seems to be either a graphics problem or something not working properly within the program. You should do a re-install and also make sure and download the latest update.

Be aware if you're using Acid Pro 7.0 with a Keygen serial number odd things will begin to happen after so many actions. You'll begin to mysteriously lose certian functionalities. Missing window views, VST problems, etc.

This happened to me and I went ahead with the upgrade and got some Aria synth and iZtope lite plug-ins with it which were very good.

I've been using Acid to one degree or another since Sonic Foundry pre-beta around 1997. It's come a long way.

It seems the problem is solved now, Raider. This morning I was checking out the wheel of my mouse and, after some touches, the horizontal zooming appeared suddenly. I'm still wondering what happened.

This is how Acid looks like at the moment:

I can't understand why zooming didn't appeared the first time I ran the programme. I'm thinking about a bug or something like that.

Many thanks again for your help, Raider. If I hadn't check the wheel I'd be still trying to find out what happens.
