Not sure what to do. Akampk49 or mkii novation

I saw a thread that spoke a liitte about this but most talkedcabout novation.

For me when you get note repeat to work and pads set up right, I got the akaimpk49 last week, sale 258 us dollars. Next day it was back to 399. Out if box the pads stink but play with velocity, sesitivity, curves and threshold and they are decent.

I do a lot of orch with ewqlso, sympobia and some tech beats rock. Rock sings for my band. The akais note repeate, latch and arpeg make it one of a kind. The down side, real pain to set up with plug INS and the novation would probaby be easier, absyth, omnisphere, strom drm. Ex. In absyth you have to set up each pad if you want to control with mpk and can't copy settings. Downside I lose note repeat, latchwhat would yiu do. Dory about spelling. Half asleep and typing on iPhone. Novation seems more proactive too ala iPhone release.

Please help. Will check spellin later when I get up. Going back to bed. Earrky still.
