Donna Summer Arpeggio help

We are going to be playing 'I feel love' in a couple of weeks.

I need to be able to play that arpeggio live. Can't find anything online to help. Tried to create something in logic and failed.

I have the Phaedra pluggin which has a D summer preset - but to be honest it's no where near.

Any suggestions?

Anybody got any pre-sets?

Thanks

1) Google "donna summer love midi"
2) Logic -> import midi
3) Replace bass line with ES-P, 100% square, zero attack (A), and then fiddle with drive, resonance, cutoff pwm etc to get the sound you want. Then apply whatever fx you need.

So i guess, you could just play that riff ( E G A A) live, with some sample delay to give the arp sound?

would anything work better than the sample delay - i'm getting close now

I've always played it on guitar with an octavizer pedal, short delay and wah to give it that filtered sound.

I can't find that awesome photo where Giorgio Moroder is messing with a huge modular Moog and is looking at Donna Summer who is behind a mic (she is supposed to sing, right?) and she looks desperate... LOL, damn, where do I have this pic...

Yeah.... two pedantic points I'm afraid.
It's a sequence played using an analogue sequencer (not an arpeggio), and it was created on a Moog modular.

It was also recorded on a tape loop at half speed and then played back at normal speed.

it sounds like it's 16th notes, but it's actually an 8th note line+delay line.
pan the dry bassline hard left, pan the delay hard right, and Viola!
just playing 16ths off a MIDI file sounds cluttered....it needs the delay line to sound smooth&sexy - so the EGs aren't 'tripping' over each other trying to fire off 16ths.
