accidental post ! sorry! meant to edit -delete plz & thx

This is my first attempt at mixing. I didn't apply proper mastering techniques. I wouldn't even call it mastering. All I did was EQ and normalize it using Audacity.

This was made using all free VSTS\DAW.

My current room setup:

-No treatment(Planned but not enough $$ yet)
-No Ref. Monitoring(Making ZMV5's - then I will make my own design and buy within 1-2 yrs)
-38% Rule (Listening position is 38% from back of room)
-Triangular listening position (Read Realtraps)

I composed the lead line first. Then I added the bass and drums. Then I added the Pad and 2nd Synth.

Then I set all the VU Meters to 0. I slowly upped them all until I could hear all of the instruments equally. Then I added a tiny bit of free-verb. That's it. Finally, I used Audacity to export this as a MP3 using LAME.

This is certainly not for bragging. I'm just asking for opinions\help.

Edit: If it helps, I plan to be a musician my entire life. I have no doubts about it. My music sounds the way it does because I am aiming for something non-violent, non-lusting, non-hating, forgiving, loving, happy, good.
