I'm an Aussie, and usually buy my kit from US eBay, as the selection is so much better, and often cheaper even after postage. I don't have an issue with power supply conversion (which is very easy with Nords, btw).

How do you check OS version on a Nord Lead 1 Rack?

Just turn it on. It will show the two digits of the OS version on the screen. Mine shows 2.5. It will also show an E if expanded.

I believe Clavia can still provide new ROMs if required, though I think not the expansion board. I believe the decals also changed slightly between v1/v2.

Wait, that's one of the best parts. 8 assignable sounds, all fully tweakable on 4 channels gives you an instant 32 channels of Nord goodness. It makes the NL1 Expanded the only option!
