Michael Jackson's Thriller with Electribes and Juno 106

Made a short tribute in the same style as my TR-808 and Oberheim DMX films. I grew up intensely with his music, and this seemed to me a proper way of saying thank you

Gear:
- Electribe ESX for drums (LinnDrum, same as in my other LinnDrum videos with the ES1) and theremin (sinewave with modulation, via MIDI)
- Electribe EA1mkII for bass
- Roland Juno 106 for pads

Wow thanx for that. That what really good. Any chance you could do a longer mix. I was really getting into it and then it ended. Thanx again. Great!

Very well done.

I like it when people do classic stuff using similar or exact gear to that used in the original recordings. Priceless.

I remember smiling the first time I played Van Halen's Jump on my Juno-G using the Jump Patch.

Thanks for sharing you MJ tribute.

A very tasteful tribute!

I enjoyed that immensely. I just got a Linn 9000 and can't wait to get into it.

Many thanks!

Congrats, I understand that a working Linn 9000 has become quite a rarity! From a sampled Linn 9000 I recreated beats like George Michael (IWYS) once and some others (on my youtube channel)

Michael Jackson Billie Jean Tribute

Well, or at least the instrumental, for fun. I love his music. Done with a Motif XS7 exclusively. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Then scroll down and there is a button "Billie Jean Inst" there.
