I would love to sample a lyre bird (or evn better a nightingale) and do all kind of weird things with the samples afterwards. Who would know if I transpose them 2 octaves down and layer them with some pad sound? Only poor birdy will sound like a T-Rex...   |

Well cool  I would love to play my 303 out in the jungle, so that for the next few generations at least, the Lyre birds could sing ACIEEEEED!

There is a large park near my house with a dedicated area with a bunch of bird houses. When you sit there you hear all these awesome birds. One in particular sounded really different and interesting. Like some kind of FM/additive synth but so much better. I wish I had a recorder with me at the time.
