Thanks Kas, I appreciate it. It just seems like it bring everything together, but not needed, I may get it down the line but ur right, I've got my bread and butter with komplete, now its time to start the modular.

Golden beers, komplete is all the instruements as kore 2 is a few selected presets from each engine. I think komplete has like 7500 presets as kore has 500

komplete is definitely worth the money... think what really put me off kore for good was the neverending driver failures and crash city's when they just put it out. typical NI bullshit... the whole web full of angry people trying to get their Kore to work instead of making music - K4 was a complete nightmare as well, with FM8, Absynth4, Massive, and Battery 3 not working till they released the fixed drivers 2 months later... same shit again with Kontakt 3, BSOD everytime you tried to open it, which was fixed in ..... drum roll.... version 1.1.

bunch of gits at NI to say the least...

Its stable. I use Kore 2 frequently as it came with my Komplete bundle.
To be honest I didnt unpack the Kore 2 box for a few months because i was very happy with the NI suite. When i had some time, i installed it, downloaded the extra free sound banks (worth it!), and i barely use the individual ones now. Using Kore2 is like using one plugin so it relaxes your computer rather than having multiple instances of reaktor running or massive or whatever. The preset prganization is great. Editing the settings is great, its just like working with the individual program but just more "organized".

cant comment on Kore, but NI do always get their shit sorted out. Just dont buy anything as soon as its out, as it'll (ime) never work properly.... dont know why they do it, but they do.

might be the multitude of users they have as well - must be mindboggilingly impressive how many possible different configurations there are that run something as popular as NI Komplete, making it close to impossible to make sure it would work properly from the go...

dying to see Reaktor 6 if and when she comes out
