What synth was used in this bassline?

I would really like to know what synth was used on the bassline to this track. Or even just how to create the same timbre with the synths I have now. I've tried getting this sound but cant quite seem to get it spot on. You slutz definitely seem to do more tweaking than I do so anyone have any Waveform ideas for the layers?

sounds to me like a modified patch of the Yamaha PLG150-AN card,
that WOOOO, sounds like one of the Yamaha Guitar Cabinet emulations/algorithms with low or none distortion.

but also sounds similar to Juno-60 + some other efx, like yamaha spx990, or rev500, 02r, 01v96, etc... speaker cabinet emulation.

Too many possibilities to mention to create something that generic. It's essentially a drone. FYI it doesn't have to sound exactly the same to be as good.

Love that Mic Burns track. I remember first hearing it on Sander Kleinenberg's Everybody 2. Brilliant Music. I found that compilation really dissapointing from the first Everybody, but this track was def a highlight.

Sounds like a Juno 106.

I dont really find it to be that generic. It has a nice tonal quality to it imo.

I don't think he really means anything particularly offensive in calling it generic and I agree with him. Not really much modulation going on: no envelope going to amplitude or filter, no LFO, it's just kinda static. Shouldn't be too hard to emulate. Just let it drone, put a little portamento on it, sidechain slightly, filter to taste.

I completely get what you're saying but LFO, filter sweeps, etc are all things that can be done after the fact.

I am talking about the actual timbre of the bass. More specifically what waveforms were used.
