Ableton Live Mixing Engineer Suggestion

Hello hello!

Anybody know of any studios or mixing engineers who work in Ableton they can recommend? I have a dance/electronic project I'm looking to get mixed in the next month or so and figured by having the Ableton file mixed I'll learn a lot from seeing what they've done!

Cheers!

My suggestion: pick up a good book on mixing, and do it yourself.

You will learn a lot more this way. Plus you'll save money.

The Mixing Engineers Handbook.

Read that book, and mixing will be the last of your worries

Well *–*this book is excellent, but I would disagree with the previous poster*–*it will not solve all Your mixing problems*–*You also need few years of experience plus an acoustically treated room. Then You might save some money. While in the grand scheme of the „hyperoptimistic scenario”*from above You would loose money and time if You decide to do it quick.

Good luck

in electronic music production mixing goes hand in hand with the creative process. change the mix and you change the song.

this is sooooo true, as part of a producers sound comes from the mixing, and a lot of standard mixing tools are exaggerated, and then also used in conjunction for effects just as much, if not more then as standard mixing tools. i.e crazy delays, tons of reverb, over compression. extreme eqing for sound sculpting. etc.
