I do not know about the best but Izotope Ozone has some useful processors that work great on dance/house stuff.

I too believe, the Sonnox bundle would be a great addition to your needs.

Saying that, the other sets are good too, especially the UAD stuff or TC powercore plugs etc..

Frankly, all those mentioned are great to check out, also the Crysonic and the Fabfilter plugs could be the go…

Cheers,
KAyo

I'm surprised noone mentioned Waves yet. I find the C1 compressor and the Renaissance bundle to sound amazing for a plugin.

I think it's a matter of taste. Like most audio matters are.
Sonnox Oxford Dynamics is really versatile so it should suit most tastes.
The GUI is also great.

Yeah, Waves gives a really nice polished sound. How does the UAD2 stuff compare to Waves?

Hi,

For me, producer in Minimal Techno, i often use for tracking (software plugins) :

- Sonnox Dynamics and Eq
- Renaissance Eq
- Waves API 2500 on the stereo bus.
- Waves SSL Master Bus on the drums bus

Best,
Vincent

And my opinion happens to be exactly the opposite of yours... Goes to show everyone's got different opinions on different gear.

Oh, Sonnox and Waves RenMaxx would be good for mixing.
