Thread Starter | Midi Out Step Sequencer Protools Ok, so I've done a lot of OTB sequencing and am just starting to get into controlling my analog gear with Protools 8. I'm surprised how much more limited it is than I thought. I was under the assumption if I had a virtual instrument that had an arpeggiator or something, I could route that to the midi out of my 002. It seems I can't? Are there programs (free or otherwise but hopefully free) in which you can use an arpeggiator or step sequencer to control outboard midi gear? I have a velocity/filter sensitive Roland MKS-7 and I think it would be dope to program it kind of like a tb 303 or something. Or in the very least be able to use an arpeggiator with it... Any suggestions? Thanks |
