looking for a cheap small sampling keyboard

kinda like the sk-1, preferably with more than 4 key polyphony and a larger soundbank. needs to have a sampler.

Cheap, although not small:

- Yamaha DJX
- Ensoniq EPS

If you only need one-shot samples or loops, but no transposing across the keyboard, you should consider stuff like

- Zoom SampleTrack
- Korg ES-1
- Yamaha SU-10
- Boss SP-303

the ESX-1 will let you put samples on two kb parts, as well as all of it's drum pads,
real time controls as well.

Well, how small is "small"? If you're looking for something the size of an SK-1, your only options are other SK or VSS series boards.

The VSS-30 is great, but I think its polyphony is also 4 and, while it has more presets than the SK-1, they're cheesier and less useful.

There's nothing else in that general form factor that offers transposable sampling and built-in sounds.
