big examples:

Skinny Puppy,Frontline Assembly,Yelworc,Mentallo and the fixer,Paracont,X marks the Pedwalk,Haujobb,Nine Inch Nails etc

here is one of my favourite track by Yelworc:

I am so impressed about those sounds still today...fantastic electronic productions made it in that ages and the electronical tools was much better used by that bands than all other music style in electronic music....

audio's bad on this one, but had to post it up; one of the best and most underrated/unheard of industrial acts of the 90s.

It's a fan video not by Wumpscut.

Here are the lyrics in English

And suddenly there was war we didn't remember it
A long time forgotten there suddenly was war
And suddenly there was war our children are dead
Burnt in the ruins that were left by war

War

And suddenly there was war and the mothers they screamed
For revenge and reprisals for another war
And suddenly and suddenly
And suddenly there was war with spoiling and death
And you fight alone if there's another war

Whole life Is War and whole life is pain
And you will fight alone in your personal war

War

This is war

War

It's been a while since I listened to any of that music! I play a lot of Pet Shop Boys, OMD, Dep Mode, NIN, Dead of Alive, New Order, The Cure, Red Flag, Camouflage, Information Society, Soft Cell, Men Without Hats and Erasure in my band at local events and private parties though, fun stuff.

We actually started out with songs from the likes of Moresey, "How soon is Now", Front 242, "Headhunter" and Split Second, "Rigamortis" but local people didn't get it and neither did club owners. Oh well, I still love 'em.

I LOVE old 90s industrial. That is pretty much what got me into electronic music in the first place.

The "Haus Der Luge" clip posted above is incredible. I remember seeing that a long time ago and thinking: Einsturzende Neubauten is the greatest live band EVER!

Have any ov you seen an old film called "Tyranny of the Beat" music from the film "Grey Space"?

It's funny, I (blue eyed christ) just played in Berlin with Yelworc in December. I didn't really know much about them, but i guess it was their first show in like 13 years or something

I'm a huge NIN fan here, and I love New Order, Depeche Mode, CABARET VOLTAIRE, JOY DIVISION... Wow I would have done anything to see both bands play together... Factory Records was the best. I love Ladytron as well, and they used to tour with NIN in europe... Wow would have loved to see that too.

I find very little new industrial listenable. Most of what i listen to is from the 80s and 90s. With a few exceptions. That Haus Der Luge video was awesome! That's one of my fave Neubauten songs ever! I'd like to see the video for the version that's on the S.A.A. 2xCD pack.

Some of my faves:
KMFDM
PIG
Chemlab
Front 242
FLA
Angelspit
Controlled Bleeding
Einsturzende Neubauten
Laeather Strip
Ionic Vision
Nitzer Ebb
early Ministry
early TKK
Joined At The Head (aka controlled bleeding)
Skinny Puppy
Cyberaktif
Chris & Cosey
early SPK
Laibach
LARD (i know, not fully industrial, but you can't go wrong with Al and Jello together!)
Pailhead (same as above, but replace Jello with Ian MacKaye)
TGT

Pretty much everything on Wax Trax =o]

I had chat sometimes with Rhys(ex FLA,Delerium,Conjure One)
and He ve done a very nice Worlock remix and it was very difficult cause the vocal was recorded without metronome and stuffs...
it was created with Emu 4 sampler,as the Hard wired album layered samples with nord lead and Doepfer Modular...
fu..in awesome album btw...one of the best industrial album ever made...
thousends of samples and tunes....

check this sounds...just kickass!!!!
YouTube - Front Line Assembly - Mortal

or this:
YouTube - Front Line Assembly-Neologic Spasm

what a bass sound...

Suicide Commando, Front 242, :wumpscut:, Vampire State Building, Funker Vogt, Lights of Euphoria, Das Ich, Die Form and a lot others.

I never was a big fan of NIN, Skinny Puppy, Einsturzende Neubauten, or Foetus though.

You just about nailed the set list of my high school band from 1988. I guess it goes without saying that we were entirely electronic. In the late 80's at the height of the hair metal era, going 100% electronic was still pretty unusual.
Anyway, back on topic, I just recently went through a lot of my old industrial music from the 80's and early 90's and was surprised at how much of it has held up. I've posted about them before but the Severed Heads in particular were way ahead of their time -- sonically and musically Come Visit the Big Bigot still blows me away.
