Need someone to listen to something...

I've been asked to play bass for a band. The guitarist composer has told me that he did the bass and drum tracks with his computer. I do not believe he did the bass tracks or knows what the bass line is. I was told that I'm not playing them correctly and when he sends me the notes, what he says is the bass line it sounds nothing like the recording.

If anyone could help I would appreciate it. just two songs I will send to someone over email.

PM me if you are willing to help. would be better if you know bass guitar.

I play bass but to help I would really need a clip of the track and then you trying to play the track.
