Oh my I already was afraid my brother would show up somewhere in this thread, and he did and not in a good way.
I'm not much of techno fan and used to have big discussions with him how he could make that crap (hey that was more than ten years ago I've grown up a bit)
although now sifting through this thread it's fun to hear some of that era back.

That Rodenbush tune is niiiice. I have 6 EBE 12"s, all great stuff but don't have that one yet.

+1 to the 'Quo Vadis' G-Man track.
still the best damned minimal jig evah!
Fred Gianelli it was, but now that I think of it...funny... Ritchie Hawtin's finest hour imho is how he drops this track into his 'Mixmag' mixCD[~'94] about 8 minutes in , w/ the reverb washing in&out all scary and shit...thumbsup

---------

"ye olde techno organ" is IT fer me

Also love how Hawtin drops it on the Mixmag Live CD - that's where I first heard it too - but the track is actually by Gez Varley (formerly half of LFO) who comes from my hometown of Leeds, UK. Fred Gianelli also recorded as G-Man round about that time, but as far as I know only released one track (caled Bio-Fidelic and on a PLus 8 compilation).....I'm not sure who copied who!

Don't be shy, quote which mention you mean.

If we're talking techno, then my entry is this:

Sorry...

It was acidhead - antigravity.

I found this thread via Google as I only have a 128kps copy of it left so I was searching online to see if a better quality one was floating around. Funny that the version I uploaded around '98 had the -none- id3 tag, which was also quoted as the title.

I also found a review of another track in Spanish, the translation reads "what is this excrement" , which also tickled me
