Doepfer Modular Arpeggiator

Hey,
Dumb newbie modular question...on a basic Doepfer A100 rig (with the little no-frills 8-step sequencer) does anyone know how to randomly arpeggiate a triad? I can't figure out the correct patching scheme!
Thanks so much -
Jim

you want to have notes triggered and the pitch of the notes should be random
or you want the threetone triad to be played at random intervals?

the first
trigger these notes from the sequencer A-161 (gate out into ADSR etc), and put the fourth output back into the reset of the A-160. I use a multiple to bring the notes to one output. they now make a seperate (trigger and gate combiner) module for that. but since there is no overlap, it's not wrong to use the multiple.
you can now vary speed, and trigger (start) of the sequence and it will play tritones. the random pitch you can get from a A-118 random source (there are more modules, but I think you got that in the basic system)
mult it, and use into CV of an oscillator. at each gate triggering the notes the pitch will vary

tip: if you want the notes to have controlled (not random) note information, mult the outputs of the A-161, and feed those into a mixer. vary the controls, and change the pitch of the individual notes.

second one,
you'll need three oscillators. experiment with random feeding the sequence trigger and reset.
