Thread Starter | Making Drum Sounds With A Dedicated Drum Synth vs Regular Synth
So I'm big on pushing the tools in my setup but I'm feeling a craving for gear, specifically Microtonic. I already have a Machinedrum so that may be kind of ridiculous but the portability of a VST is unmatched by hardware. I'm also looking to get Operator at some point and I'm wondering if Operator can do what Microtonic can do or if there's an audible difference in the drum sounds it can make. Basically, can Operator synthesize drum sounds as well as a dedicated drum synth?
