Thread Starter | Use an LFO to modulate LFO speed?
Anybody know of any soft synth's that allow you to do this?

I know Omnisphere does - Ive done it - nice. I suspect Massive does also. My Waldorf Blofeld also can... There are prob quite a few - likely not the Analogue recreations but the more modern super VAs. |

Z3ta+ Minimonsta and Oddity (use the VCO's as LFO's and then modulate the VCO with another LFO) Any modular synth: Reaktor, VAZ Modular, Tassman, etc. |

Fabfilter Twin and Massive. Honestly, I think almost all modern softsynth's are capable, as long as they have more than one LFO, which most do. |

Ok well I have massive. Do I need to go into the routing screen and mess with the LFO routing? Im sure most of them are capable but I have not really found one with a transparent way of doing this and im sure it's something many people would like to do if they are not already. Cheers for getting back to me iMakeTunes |

Im relatively new to sound design and had this idea as it is a simple form of LFO rate automation really. Anyway, thanks for getting back to me. | |

Yeah, it's a good way to keep things from getting too stale, especially if you're too lazy to manually automate everything like myself. You have to be gentle, though, because it can get annoying quick if you modulate too many modulators. If you really can't figure it out in Massive, let me know. I'll help a brother out. I'm at work right now, anyway, though, so I couldn't offer much assistance at the moment. |
