Sylenth1 special offer

Hey everybody,

I just wanted to draw your attention to the special offer for the great VSTi Sylenth1 by LennarDigital. Normally it's sold for Eur. 139,-. But now there's a groupbuy; the more people buy the product, the lower the price gets. It's already down to Eur. 89,- and it's heading to Eur. 79,-. VAT excluded. Even with the current dollar value, it's still a steal.

I feel it's a great opportunity for you guys to own one of the best VSTi's out there.

And no, I am not in any way related to LennarDigital.............

Here's the link: LennarDigital - Sylenth1

Enjoy!

1 Euro used to be around 1.6 USD. Even if it's jumped a bit from recent lows, I'll still take it

Already signed up, getting ready to buy.

I can vouch for this synth. Even if you don't like softies I think this one is worth having.

it doesn't sound any different then solid outboard VA (virus/nord/jp) or am I missing something?

not slamming it just wondering what it offers (other then the usual vst upsides) for those who already own

doesn't sound analog at all. sounds a little less weightier then access / roland VA. Have never used a nord so can't compare but sounds different.

agree the price is awesome.

I want to get Zebra 2, but this doesn't sound like it compares with it. Good price, but the sound doesn't seem up to par. Sounds pretty good though. How do you guys compare it to some of the top softsynths like Zebra?

Can't go wrong for €79

Personally, I'm lovin it. Not gonna get into "analog sounding" debate. I like its character and wide range of tones I can get, sits nicely in my mixes. It can be very clean sounding, with a bit of a digital sheen (perfect for trance) which I hate, but this can be remedied.

I really love Zebra too, sound wise Sylenth is definitely on par. However Zebra is a deeper synth, semi modular approach. I still haven't learnt how to program Zebra well, Sylenth I got my head around in a few hours.

i tried it and it really didn't grab me... just a really basic VA. i guess for bread-and-butter sounds it could be cool, but...

i prefer Zebra's filters, Zeta's modulation matrix, etc. etc...
