Feedback on Progressive House/Electro Track

Hey,
Here's a track I am working on and would really appreciate some feedback. I am currently living in Freiburg, Germany as a masters student and have none of my gear; this was made with Ableton Live 7, Moog Modular vst, Zebra2, drums from sampled 1 hits, waves plugins (eq, maximizer) and psp vintage warmer.
All I have to monitor is my firewire go46 audio interface and sony mdr-v700 dj headphones...
Let me know if any levels are off or general impressions. This is a bit different style for me but just puttin it out there. Really appreciate it.

Heres the download link:
4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download Uptown Drop.mp3

Thanks,
Joseph

hmm

not exactly sure what you mean here, but thanks for the links...
could it be the Waves L2 I put on the master..... it really worked to make the track that much louder, but perhaps this is what you are referring to, im not sure...?
Thanks.

Hey I like the tune but it is super compressed.
It makes kinda hard to listen to.
You may want to take some of the compression off of the bus.
Also the tracks could use a little more reverb to create depth.

So I like the tune but the mix sounds flat and compressed.

hmm, could be the L2 on the master track, eh? it really made the track seem much louder to me in a good way, but again just listening with dj headphones...
Ill take off the L2 and post, maybe it will be tolerable. Thanks. Joseph

Alright I have uploaded three different versions:
the first is with the L2 at some mastering setting that apparently way overcompressed everything
the second is the L2 with milder settings
the third version is no L2 at all

4shared - free file sharing and storage - share folder - Uptown Drop

Noticeable differences? I couldn't tell too much in my headphones so any observations would be really appreciated. Thanks!
