Thread Starter | Nord Lead as a Midi Keyboard Octave Up Down?
I have my Nord Lead 2x setup as my main MIDI keyboard. I don't do much MIDI stuff these days however I occasionally like to mess with a softsynth. I just noticed today that hitting the OCT SHIFT button on my Nord does not translate to my softsynths via MIDI. Is there a work around for this? I will like to be able to play low and high octaves. Thanks.

Does the octave up/down buttons send midi messages? If so you can probably map them to the octave up/down on your soft synth.

I just answered someone elses thread with same problem... Try this... hold both the dumpall/dumpone buttons down (under the octave lights) for a few seconds, the lights should invert colours. Let me know if this works to transmit octave information... if not get back to me, i cant currently check myself. -yolkboy |
