Hi, we're Justice, and we're a bunch of fakes!

Hey dumb asses... how about plugging your MIDI controllers IN for once! Morons! All that grease in their hair is obstructing their judgment.

you talking about this?

Justice confess to stealing samples on FasterLouder.com.au

“If you listen to Genesis, the first track [on † ], there are samples of Slipknot, Queen and 50 Cent,” Xavier de Rosnay asserted boldly. “But they are such short samples no one can recognise them. The ones from Slipknot, for example, are just tiny bits of the voice.”

“Sometimes we do also use big samples. On the album, we used three big samples that we had to clear, and all the rest are just impossible to recognise.”

Yeah. But for the longest time, they asserted that they recreated said sounds in the studio. They were finally forced to recognize.

Genius, now all three acts will be contacting their legal teams.

i wouldn't be proud of creating any of their sounds. i find their music punishing and awful in every way. but apparently it has its place.

i couldn't care less and i don't think all the nihilistic "we must be at the best dance party ever" wanna be hipster scenesters will care much about them faking their shows or stealing samples.

Man.... this is not news.

i used to rent synths and gear to big parties (20.000 ppl) for electronic music live acts

you have no idea how much money i made without even having to turn on the stuff.

once the guys asked the organizers to rent some stuff and
when i got to the venue, the dudes picked 2 out of the 3 synths they had already made the organizers pay for.

so they leave one just sitting there on the back of the stage.. they didnt even took it out of the case... then they take the 2 they have "carefully" chosen, put on the stage and believe it or not they just leave it there, dont even turn on... fake the gig... make money... organizer make money... people dance... everybody happy... call it a day...

im talking about a 10+ years on the road worldwide artists...

seen many times

Ha ha ha ha...

I hate Justice as much as anybody, but I think this is just an accident, its happened to all of us, usb came out is all. He looks a bit too pissed to notice... that is funny! I saw a bunch of photos of their setup recently and them playing, everything seemed to be connected! I'll have a look and post them.

I do hope they get sued into poverty though!

Finally, jean jackets are cool to wear again! I have waited forever.

Pictures I have seen of there stage shows is a bunch of amps and cords as props that they sit behind anyway, so why the hell plug the controllers in.

So I watched Electroma, the Daft Punk movie a while back, and did some reading afterwards. A writer stated that the guys that played the two Hero Robots sometimes make appearances for the Punks when they can't make it somewhere, not gigs, but just public appearances and photo shoots I guess.

Which leads me to this video, I'm sure everyone's seen it by now, but could this not be Daft Punk? I mean if I was them and all I had to do was play back a track, I wouldn't show.

I don't understand how some of you can have serious ill-will toward a couple of guys you don't even know or are directly affected by. I honestly don't get it.

Its not serious. Its the internet. However, if these retards are going to charge 40 bucks to see them play "live" and then sit there with a bunch of unplugged machines, they can blow me.

It looks to me to be a club DJ performance, not a live performance. Hence, the DJ mixer and minor setup, vs massive cross and empty Marshall stacks.

While their live shows may or may not be "live", their DJ shows are certainly not faked.

Very possible that this pic is the first or second track, and they or the sound guy were to drunk to plug that thing in. He looks a tad like "what the **** is going on?"

Lightbulb The joke of the joke

It's not as if "Electronica" doesn't have a hard enough time being recognized as "legit" live music as it is!

Faked "live" music that is widely already seen as faked to begin with. But wait folks...

One step further, SAMPLED music of other people's recordings turned into their own "electronica" but without even enough effort to trigger the pre-recorded samples of other people's music... uh, ummm...

(Remember when the public had the audacity to act appalled at Milli Vanill?)

Now, if someone would just "sample" an entire Justice track and call it their own, play it back with one finger held down for 3:30... NOW WE'RE TALKING!

some of the electronica acts that i saw live looked like they were checking their emails on stage.
But the climax of fakeism is to watch a DJ at MTV pretending to playback a vinyl of their new release when evryone knows that the actual sound is coming from the control room.
