Thread Starter | Anyone liking Tommy Sunshine?
I think this guy's remixes are really cool. Really dig what he did w/ the Good Charlotte track a while back. He's got a new disc out... thinking of picking it up. Anyone got the scoop on what gear he uses? Does he have pro engineers mix his stuff? |

Damn. Haven't seen that name in a while. I used to see his sets in Atlanta, way back in the mid 90's. I can say that he knows his Chicago house history... |

I remember him at the WMC in Miami in the 90's. Dude switched his image, huh? I like his stuff a lot too!

I have the 10" record off of Xylophone Jones Records he did with Mark Verbose "Dance Among The Ruins". One side is killer Acid House, the other side is retro Italo Disco. I remember Tommy from our local Rave Scene in the early 90s.

<< I have the 10" record off of Xylophone Jones Records he did with Mark Verbose >> Yeah, I remember that one too! The guy's done really well for himself and evolved with the times. Major props. Still curious if he mixes his own stuff. Or if he has a "crew" that helps him produce. And what gear he like to use (hey, this is Gearslutz!) |

My hunch would be he is mixing and producing his own stuff if Felix passing off work to him. | |

Mark Verbos was the engineer behind a lot of Tommie's remixes
