I'm going to say it one last time then shut up about it.

I LLLLLLLLLLLooooooooooooooooovvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeee my JD990 with vintage card.
Over last few months i have bought
Waldorf Q
mac pro 8 core
cubase 4
apogee ensemble
loads of plugins like tg comp and brilliance from abbeyroad, sonalksis 315, ni battery,ni komplete synths etc etc.

But the jd990 is by a mile my fav new upgrade and aquistion.
For long sustained morphing moving shimmering pads i don't think you can beat it. Im having such fun creating new patches and going off on a journey sculpting and creating them.

Right ill forever hold my tongue on the subject (well until next week anyway)

Would you mind posting a demo or two? Doesn't have to be musical, just plinking around...

That's exactly how I feel about my new Creamware Prodyssey!

It sounds fantastic! I don't understand why more people don't rave about this thing...

Here you go now my kids have stopped being sick.
4 patches i created today whilst i was sat on a really boring conference call on mute for 3 hours.
I have not eq'd or anything its just the jd into apogee ensemble rendering down the sounds in cubase and then creating a moving image of about 4minutes.
The only sound that is not The jd is the gong and the sound like an elephant farting down a tube thats about 20 mtrs long . The only processing of audio was automation fades and also reversed a pad sound. I think that gives the JD a true test rather than a super glossy polished eq'd mixdown thing.

I think it sounds pretty fat for a digital synth in fact the bassy arp modulating things sound pretty analog.

Its all rendered down to a 320 mp3 using a uv22 dither plugin on the master buss. no compresiion or eq anywhere. I couldnt get the file down to 6mb without really going lowbit rate even compressing it so i loaded it up here instead at 320k mp3 rather than suffering going any lower even 198 was over 6mb.

Send big files the easy way. Files too large for email attachments? No problem!

Ooooh and excuse the click off the end of loop on the arp. I was going to edit it out but could not be bothered for this. Just pretend is sampled of vinyl and its a small scratch
