Thread Starter | good a-frame 3 tier stand?
I am looking for a good quality 3 tier, A-frame style keyboard stand. I want it to hold a korg monopoly, sh-101 and some drum machines. This means I need to be able to buy extra supports for it (or whatever the parts are called that attach to each tier and support the individual instruments). Any recommendations of brands/models and their sources (that will ship to Canada) is appreciated! |

The On-Stage stand looks to be the closest thing to what I wanted. I just am not sure about the quality. On-Stage Stands KS7903 A-Frame Keyboard Stand It looks like on a tier I could have more than one thing mounted side-by-side and this would be ideal. |

The Standtastic holds my Wave (heavy) on the top level! Assembly and disassembly is very easy. I love mine. The stability should be sufficient for your setup. The only problem I see is to get drum machines mounted. See DC's post/recommendation. A regular A-Frame increases the width that a keyboard requires. Should you get a larger keyboard (like a Kurzweil) later on, it may not fit into your stand. If you have plenty of space, an A-Frame will do the job. Cheap A-Frames' plastic parts break very fast! Not a good idea for touring. | |
