how to achieve such effect on track? (mp3 included)

Hello,
I wonder what is the effect on this track of Flying Lotus
Flying Lotus Massage Situation - Song - MP3 Stream on IMEEM Music
I thought that it is sidechain, but when I tried it sound a bit different as well as overcompression. So what can you recommend to achieve that sound?

nice Question

hmm... the comp has a slow attack, sidechained to a limiter that goes to the highs. I mean comp activates limiter that acts on those highs <-- they seem undersampled.

thank you i604
limiter is what I was looking for, it sounds very similar to original.
I loaded loop and mix it with comp->limiter and compressed it a lot like you said with slow attack, but I didn't understand to what must I sidechain this loop (to hi-hats?) and also I go wrong with this vibe like the track is muted every 2 sec (but maybe it's because I didn't sidechained yet).

Yes, seems to sidechain to that hihats track. That highs are very modded, there's some kind of granulizer goin'on there... It is impossible to get exactly the same outs.

This is a so-called french comp + sidechain as said before. Check out threads about Daft Punk, Cassius and Air, you get some some explanations.
