Not another "what's that sound?" thread

Ok, what was this amazing synth sequence made on at the end of Judas by Depeche Mode?
It makes me wanna cry more than the song itself!
I know it's probably a layer, it's panned, probably reamped but I'm not at all sure what they were using at the time short of the Roland System 700.
What synth(s) was that sound made on? Depeche Mode geeks for the rescue.

This thread shall be for future inquires as well.

Sup thx. Dude, that could be anything. I will have to pull out my keybaord issue from that erra and look up the interview! As I recall, a Roland System 100 was primarily used along side some Oberheim SEM modules, maybe a Four Voice. It could be anything. Allan Wilder was AMAZING producing Songs of Faith and Devotion as the album lives up to its name.

Yeah, I know, nothing too fancy about the sound. Just thought it was very well done. Fits the arrangement perfectly

Thanks rasp, I'll dig through it!
I think I have been Wilder's homepage before. I really, really like what he is doing as Recoil.
