Not really, it's too much in front and rather loud.

OK, that's what i thought. I'm just trying to figure out the way my monitors bring out frequencies. It sounds fine in my headphones (Sony MDR-7506) but they do sound too upfront with the monitors (KRK Rokit 5s)

i agree. It's right at the front of the mix and appears to be by far the loudest track. Felix xx

With a small home studio I quite often had to mix on headphones. I found I was almost always mixing to a misconception. In the end, I think headphones are ok to work on, but not ok to mix on, or to make final master decisions on.

You really can't mix on headphones. Cheap hi-fi speakers are better. Headphones are handy for double-checking and listening for subtle artifacts, but when it comes to overall balance, even poor speakers will fare much better.

I've been working in just headphones for a long time. And have never had any issues. No one has ever said my mixes were out of balance.

Agreed, the ride need to come down in volume a bit. If you don't want to do that, maybe turning down the mid frequency and highs a bit to tone down it down would also work. Nice track, brings back some memories also!
