Hello,

What are all the options for sequencing the vermona drum machine....?

Something like this:

YouTube - Testing out my Vermon DRM 1 Mrk3 Seq by electribe MX

Do I just need any sequencer ?

I don't just want a m-audio keyboard ....I think I need something that

triggers (midi or cv/gate) and shows tempo...

I want the best.... is the elektron monomachine where it is at?

thanks

Since it has midi and an optional trigger unit you can pretty much control it with anything on the planet.

thats what I am asking ....

what shows beats per minute

and has insanely complex patterns/sequences................?

And has a better interface than an 88 key m-audio keyboard ?

maybe i need a set of v-drums or an mpc ....I don't know that's why I am

asking for a recommendation

thanks,

fondone

You need to specify your needs more exactly. "The best" simply does'nt cut it.

What do you want/need ?

I use a roland handsonic as a percussion MIDI controller. It's really great. If you get one, I recommend diving into the OS and changing the sensitivity and response curves to suit your style. It looks like a toy, but it's built like a tank.

If you want to use sticks instead of your hands, and don't want to shell out for the v-drums, Roland makes some kind off 6 pad drum trigger that works great, but I don't remember what model it is. Google is your friend.

There's also the zendrum and a couple of other boutique MIDI percussion controllers that I've never tried. If you get one of those, let us know what you think about it.
