Hello, What are all the options for sequencing the vermona drum machine....? Something like this: YouTube - Testing out my Vermon DRM 1 Mrk3 Seq by electribe MX Do I just need any sequencer ? I don't just want a m-audio keyboard ....I think I need something that triggers (midi or cv/gate) and shows tempo... I want the best.... is the elektron monomachine where it is at? thanks |

Since it has midi and an optional trigger unit you can pretty much control it with anything on the planet.

thats what I am asking .... what shows beats per minute and has insanely complex patterns/sequences................? And has a better interface than an 88 key m-audio keyboard ? maybe i need a set of v-drums or an mpc ....I don't know that's why I am asking for a recommendation thanks, fondone |

You need to specify your needs more exactly. "The best" simply does'nt cut it. What do you want/need ? |

I use a roland handsonic as a percussion MIDI controller. It's really great. If you get one, I recommend diving into the OS and changing the sensitivity and response curves to suit your style. It looks like a toy, but it's built like a tank. If you want to use sticks instead of your hands, and don't want to shell out for the v-drums, Roland makes some kind off 6 pad drum trigger that works great, but I don't remember what model it is. Google is your friend. There's also the zendrum and a couple of other boutique MIDI percussion controllers that I've never tried. If you get one of those, let us know what you think about it. |
