Thread Starter | Looking For DJ Mixer W/ Effects Loop
Is there an affordable dj mixer with an effects loop I can use to chain in whatever effects I want? I want to be able to have my effects at 100% wet and than blend on the mixer rather than having to blend on the effects boxes themselves. I am having a hard time finding a quality mixer that does this for under 300$. Is there a simple way to incorporate a super small micro mixer or maybe switch to my current dj mixer that could do this for me? Any products designed for this? Thanks guys! |

quality mixer for 300 bucks? ![]() best option would be DIY. but that still would take you way over that amount. also... that "high end" Vestax mixer has this. I got a Vestax just like it, but less bells and whistles, and WAY cheaper, 2 years ago for a friend of mine. sorry can't remember the number. it was grey. When I see him, I'll ask. |

You aren't likely to find that for $300. I _BELIEVE_ that Ecler NUO 2, NUO 3, and NUO 4 have external effects loops that are wet/dry, and they would be your best bet for quality and price - maybe even under $300 for a 2 or 3 used.

stanton m304 might be available at or near that price, particularly second hand. it's a 3 channel that allows you to put line and phono on each channel, so you could put your turntables/cd decks on 2 and your effects return on 1, and run it that way. i'm not sure it's the same set-up as the m505 (which i own, and which does sound great, btw, with the same electronics as in the 304), which has an fx send button above the cue button that will mult the channel to the fx outputs, and allow you to mix the return on one of the mixer channels. i got my m505 used for about what you're looking to pay, by the way. these are full-featured boards with great sounding, quiet electronics and very musical eq's. they look nice too, and are among the nicer quality chinese-made merchandise i have seen. good luck.

I'd love to get my hands on that mixer to play with for a couple weeks. It looks insanely functional though Ecler kinda sucks when it comes to holding value. | |
