Andromeda meets Eventide.. they hit it off..

just scratching the surface on my new Eventide Orville.. wanted to show basic character of this colourbox when used with analog synth. and dbl duty as demo for the synth itself. andromeda is doin lead, pad, polysynth and realtime tweaked analog drums, thru array of reverb/delay/pitch combos...

A6-Orville_singularity
A6-Orville_gothica_vroom 8ve dwn reverb
A6-Orville_galaxyborders reversed and octave dly +reverb

A6-Orville_CarlosVisitsIstanbul speed up left, speed down right

A6_chernobeat-Orville_rvrbs
A6_analogdrum-Orville_nonlinear dry->wet->dry
A6_berlinpad-Orville_dblpitch 8ve down right, 8ve up left
A6_berlinpad-Orville_mercurycloud2 my fav
A6_berlinpad-Orville_rev_8ve_pitch

moogy-style patch going thru S/H filtered delay, then subtle doubling w flanged reverb etc..

A6_heavy-Orville_filterdelay
A6_heavy-Orville_flangedreverb dry -> wet

A6_Pyramids-Orville_mercurycloud
A6_multi-Orville_BarkingChamber dry -> wet (multimode-split)

hopu u enjoy it..

Man, you've inspired me.

I'm sitting here with an H8000 and a Virus TI, and I really need to get to some stuff like that.

Great clips. Your posts are quickly becoming my favorites!

Any chance we'll get to hear the Prophet through the Eventide?

thnks, yeah why not.. perhaps in a few days when i catch free time again...

@Bryan Talbot: thanks man. yeah u should it transforms one synth to many other faces..

i was kinda thinking of getting 8000, but it was a bit more than i wanted to part with. i prefer analogue connections and colour of eve ad/da, so firewire wasn't as big deciding factor. anyway, im now officially in my effects paradise: this beast, combined with Lex300, Tc4000 and PCM-70 is about all i could wish for my synths.

thanks guys ..

@Fluxpod, fwiw u can get the same sound for less by pickin up a DSP7000, which is one half of Orville. examples posted here are all multi-fx chains using only one DSP of available two, so 7K can do this too. last i looked it goes for $1.8 to 2K. Orville's 3 to 3.2K typically. if u wanna forego modular flexibility and routing, and use a subset of algorithms, u can opt for Eclipse, which afaik has similar or slightly less dsp than 7000, but can be had used for 1.5K.

@Drone, BerlinPad is one of fav sounds ive done on A6. i use it almost on all projects.. and this texture is something i feel is unique to a6, beyond imitation of them old boards.. adding orville spinned reverb to this pad makes me go

i hate you clusterchord
mucho jealous

my A6 and Eclipse already play nice but to take it up a level would be even better with an Orville or h8000

Lovely stuff. I've always liked the Eventide series, I messed around with a H3000 a few months ago. Very nice clips.
