NI Battery note off question

Hey People,

I have been going nuts trying to find the way battery treats note off. For instance I hit a key that triggers a cell. When I release the key I want the note to stop, simple....but it keeps playing like a one shot. Is there a simple way to do this without messing with envelopes.

My MPC does this by changing the sample to Note Off....

Cheers!

You're not going to get simpler than rotating the release envelope knob. To the left. C'mon people don't be lazy.

Oh man thanks! Now I feel stupid, but happy and stupid.

for some reason I was set on it being a button that I was looking for not something so simple as the release.

Cheers
