| Lives for gear | Drum Sample Libraries
I am slowly building up a collection of software and hardware for a project that I am about to dive into. It's an industrial/rock/experimental sort of endeavour.. anyways, I have my sequencer and everything and I am looking for a good set of super tight/heavy drums. I am open to synthetic/studio drums samples, as long as they sound tight and punchy/snappy. anyone have any suggestions? I liked the sample I heard of M-audio's Prosessions: Vol 39 - Turbulent Filth Monsters, as it is really heavy, but sort of lacks the definition and punch that I want. if you have heard the new NIN album, the drum beat for the song "The Warning" is a good example. Thanks! |
