Thread Starter | Memorymoog Emulation?
My band is about to finish our album and we used a memorymoog on pretty much every song. We can't gig with the memorymoog but we would like to recreate these sounds live without using a sampler. Done anyone have any suggestions on the best route software or hardware that we could use to reconstruct the sounds we got and play them live? Thanks! |

You could check out the Creamware Minimax, basically a 12-voice VA Minimoog. That should get you quite near. They are quite cheap at the moment, at least here in Germany. |

Yeah I've been looking at that. That's what I'm definitley leaning towards. I was also wondering about something like the Andromeda A6 bc I know its pretty powerful, but its probably overkill and much more expensive. I'm not sure how close I could come to those sounds on it also. I wish someone would come out with memorymoog softsynth already! |

While not a memorymoog emulator, zebra2 is a semi-modular vst/au softsynth that has a very nice mooglike filter (the xmf filter).

| Memorymoog VST here
This is what you're looking for. I use their Minimoog VST all the time in our live gigs with great results. http://www.memorymoon.com/ |
