Thread Starter | USB MIDI Interface
I'm starting to think that my midi/audio interface is the reason all of my music sounds like shit. I am currently using a Tascam US-122, which has a lot of nice features, but it just seems to blow. I was recording vocals with it today while having them run through a digitech vocal 300, and the vox sounded great coming out of the speakers, but once they were recorded they sounded COMPLETELY different and the effects from the digtech were nearly nullified. I don't know how thats possible, but I have to assume its because of the Tascam. I've also got a virus classic, but when I record it through the Tascam it sounds like a weak softsynth. Can people either recommend some GOOD usb midi/audio interfaces, or at least confirm that the tascam 122 is a piece of shit and that it is the bane of my studio?
