Whitney Houston and her FM synthesiser?

Having just listened to "I want to dance with somebody" again i was wondering if anyone might know what synth does the almighty brass stabs in the chorus. Yes, i know i should go to bed.

it sound like a dx7 to me but im no expert in 80s synths.
